5th July - 16th September, 2013 | Shimane Art Museum
Yuzo Saeki (1898 – 1928) came to Paris in 1924 and painted numerous masterpieces of buildings on Parisian street corners, posters, and cafes, all with his own unique touch. With 58 of Saeki’s most important works from the collection of Osaka City Museum of Modern Art, Planning Office, as well as paintings of related artists and contemporary Parisian posters, this exhibit will provide you with a glimpse into the life of the art capital as seen by Saeki.
