Local young men spend a week constructing a giant Guzu Fish.
Building materials consist of wood, bamboo, and straw. The Guzu fish stretches to about 7 or 8 meters.
The Guzu is then marched in a parade, heading for the local shrine where it is set on fire in a traditional ceremonial burning. (*reference: STEPPING STONES ISHIKAWA)
