Shitennoji-Wasso festival is a modern reenactment of early cultural exchange and trade between Japan and its Asian neighbors held at Remains of Naniwa-no-Miya Place.
The parade of more than 1,000 people clad in accurate reproductions of ancient costumes, shouting "Wasso! Wasso!" is spectacular.
