30th October - 4th November, 2015 | Tokyo Midtown, Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Design is everywhere around us, whether we realize it or not.
Good Design Award aims to highlight the best products and architecture that enrich our lives.
The award show will present some of the best designs out there, whether they are smartphones, glasses, condos, train stations or entire communities.
Companies now vie to get a Good Design Award stamp of approval on their brands to prove to customers that they are the best of the best.
The show has already named their “Good Design Best 100,” and will hand out special awards at the show. Some of the “Best 100” include Samsung’s Galaxy 6S and its curved screen, Narita Airport Terminal 3’s blue running track and Nike’s interactive LED basketball court.
There will also be workshops at the event to show future designers how to create the creative and engaging works possible, perhaps even garnering them a Good Design Award at a future event. (Miina Yamada)
