Kokufu Town in Tottori City has a number of cultural properties such as Ube-jinja Shrine, the most heralded shrine of the area, and the Cemetery of the Ikeda Lords, a national historical site where generations of this local feudal clan were enshrined along a promenade of some 320,000 stones.
Also, at the foot of Mt. Ogino is found the Amedaki Waterfall that was chosen amongst the top 100 scenic falls of Japan.
