29th January, 2017 | at Mt. Koya-san, Wakayama
Mount Koya, Koya-san 高野山 in Japanese, is a mountain range south of Osaka in the Ito District of Wakayama Prefecture.
The name does not actually belong to a specific mountain, but usually refers to the town of Koya and the valley it rests in.
It is the site of a Buddhist monastery established in 819 by Kobo Daishi, the founder of Shingon Buddhism.
