Hachioji Ginkgo Festival | November 17th & 18th, Hachiouji, Tokyo

Hachioji Ginkgo Festival | November 17th & 18th, Hachiouji, Tokyo

Those gingko trees were planted along the streets when the city expanded the Tama Goryo in the Showa period. Highlight of this time is the tour of sekisho (old checking station) with old-time pass permits. Also, the parade of classic cars that survived the Showa era is planned. You can feel the loving enthusiasm of Hachioji citizen to their hometown, which remind us of good old days. Enjoy nostalgic atmosphere covered with beautiful yellow leaves.
